When lunchtime calls to your belly run, don’t walk, to Asheville's favorite mobile Hot Dog Vendor with today’s Deal from Avery’s Hot Dogs:
- Pay $5 for $10 worth of savory Beef or "No Evil Foods" Veggie Hot dogs.
- $10 value comes in two $5 vouchers to be used separately or together.
Located weekdays in downtown Asheville on College street, between Tupelo Honey Café & Ten Thousand Villages, Avery’s Hot Dogs entices Ashevillians as well as passersby en route to the downtown sites with savory handhelds. The wagon’s brief menu includes Nathan’s Beef hot dogs and "No Evil Foods" Veggie dogs (a local product) – with a plethra of toppings to choose from. Pile beef franks with tomatoes, onions, pickles, sweet relish, sport peppers, & celery salt (it has been Chicago approved - some Chicagoans say it’s even better than the real thing!) or choose the classic toppings of mustard, ketchup, onions and relish. Any way you want it, Avery’s can fix it!
ABOUT AVERY'S HOT DOGS:
Bill Cooley, a former insurance agent who runs Avery's Hot Dogs, a cart found near Pritchard Park on weekdays and at various festivals around the city, keeps a slew of condiments on hand to set his product apart from the standard dog. Bill Cooley's downtown hot dog cart is known for his homemade relishes. As a side note, the hot dog stand was named for Bill's beloved dog, Avery, who passed away in 2007.
